The Victorian Bulldogge is a healthy, sturdy breed, however all dogges require proper shelter from direct sun, rain and freezing temperatures. Make sure your puppy is up to date on all shots and has a license prior to venturing out into public. Every one wants to show off their new puppy but if their shots are not up to date you will be exposing your puppy and that can be fatal. They are a larger dogge and require large amounts of clean water and a careful balanced diet filled with the proper amounts of protein, carbohydrates and vitamin and minerals. We feed high quality foods and balanced cooked diets.
We can recommend some brand name kibble or provide you a nutrition strategy.
We advise you to thoroughly check out your nutrition selections and work with your local veterinarian to select a diet right for you. If you are having concerns in these topics we will work with you to establish proper feeding and lifestyle feeds on a case by case basis. Remember that a large dogge will require a larger area and need training, exercise and affection daily. We suggest research at your local library or bookstore for additional diet options. We recommend using a high quality large breed puppy kibble for your young pups. We feed our dogges ground lamb, fish, chicken, selected veggies and grains that we raise on our farm and mix in high quality kibble. Our diets are unique to each dogge and adjusted to ensure the dogges are healthy and active. Creating quality feeds and nutrition takes time and experience. Over or underfeeding causes health concerns. You can't raise a high performance dogge on cheap dog food, and doing so will lead to health issues and poor growth. Better quality feed produces less waste and your dogges health will improve. Clean water is essential. Also your dogges feeding and watering containers must be cleaned frequently to prevent health issues.
